The Hearts and Arrows diamond is a "super-ideal" cut version of the traditional 57 faceted round brilliant cut. Hearts and Arrows diamonds are precision-cut round diamonds.

Because of their exact angles and symmetry, they show a hearts-and-arrows pattern. Arrows are visible from the top of the diamond, and hearts are visible when the diamond is face-down.

All 57 facets must be cut just right, as the slightest difference can distort the hearts and arrows effect. The result is an intense beauty and fire in your diamonds.

Well, imagine 2 couples sitting at a restaurant for dinner. One couple with a high-quality stone and one with a lower quality. If the diamond with lower quality is cut the hearts and arrows way and the higher a standard way, the diamond with the lower quality and price will shine and sparkle more than the other one.
